Stephen J. Blumert

Stephen J. Blumert is a partner at the firm. He has over 30 years of experience representing clients in the purchase and sale of real estate, from shopping centers and multi-family housing to individual residences, cooperative apartments and condominiums. He has written numerous offering plans and has obtained no-action letters for the conversion of properties. He has served as lead counsel in the development of properties, from acquisition, financing and construction through operation, leasing, refinancing, transfers and tax-free exchanges. In addition, he has experience in estate and trust planning and administration, and the drafting of wills.

Prior to joining the firm he was a partner at the firm of Schwartz & Blumert LLP. He has also served as an Attorney-Advisor at The Department of Housing and Urban Development, New York Area Office.
