Rebecca Pattiz joined BLH in 2020 after clerking for the Honorable Sarah Netburn of the Southern District of New York. Before clerking, Rebecca was a litigation associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP.
Rebecca received her J.D., cum laude, from New York University School of Law in 2018. During law school, she served as a Senior Articles Editor for the N.Y.U. Review of Law and Social Change. She was a clinic student with the NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund, Inc., where she worked on a school desegregation matter in Mississippi, and participated in NYU’s employment law clinic. She also worked on employment-related matters as a law clerk at Outten & Golden LLP.
Prior to law school, Rebecca taught 7th grade history and English as a Teach for America corps member in Memphis, Tennessee, and Brooklyn, New York.
