
Aliza is thrilled to join BLH as a Family Law Fellow.
A graduate of Columbia Law School, Aliza was an Executive Articles Editor for the Columbia Journal of Law & Social Problems, a research assistant for Professor James Macleod, and an active participant in her student chapter of the National Lawyers Guild.
She represented parents facing accusations of child neglect in Columbia’s Family Defense Clinic. She interned at the New York State Attorney General’s Office’s Plattsburgh Regional Office and with District Council 37 Municipal Employees Legal Services’ matrimonial team.
Aliza is the author of Towing After Timbs: Why Vehicle Impoundment Violates the Excessive Fines Clause (2025).
