Aliza Tresser is a family law attorney and certified divorce mediator. Her practice areas include pre and post nuptial agreements, divorce, including the resolution of complex financial and custody issues, and family defense. 

She is available for mediation and individual representation for prenuptial, co-habitation, parenting, and separation agreements, among others. She is also available to represent individuals in contested divorces and has experience navigating both custody and financial issues. Her family defense practice is focused on helping parents navigate the State Central Registry review process. She is also available for estate planning, including drafting wills and advance directives, as well as probate and estate administration.

She is especially interested in helping queer and other “non-traditional” families navigate legal complexities related to reproduction, co-parenting, co-habitation, and the sharing of finances whether through contract law, matrimonial law, or a combination of the two. She believes that everyone should be able to create family structures and agreements that align with their values and goals and is committed to listening to a couple’s goals and working with them to come up with creative solutions that make sense for their unique circumstances.
