BLH Files Lawsuit for Family of Killed Fishkill Inmate
BLH recently held a press conference related to the filing of a federal civil rights complaint in the Southern District of New York featuring Jonathan C. Moore, New York State Sentaor Bill Perkins, the Harrell family, and Lucas Renfrow, a witness to the case who was featured in the New York Times.
BLH launched an investigation nto the death of Samuel Harrell, an inmate at Fishkill Correctional Facility. Mr. Harrell was brutally beaten to death by Corrections Officers at Fishkill Correctional Facility.
Attorneys from BLH worked tirelessly to investigate Mr. Harrell's death, interviewing over 20 witnesses and loved ones to piece together the events leading to Mr. Harrell's murder.
The Orange County Medical Examiner ruled Mr. Harrell's death a homicide.
The Estate of Samuel Harrell is represented by Jonathan C. Moore and Luna Droubi.
