NEW YORK, NY. (April 22, 2026) – Judge Jennifer H. Rearden ordered the release of BLH Client Oleg Burokhov from prison today, after granting his habeas corpus petition. Mr. Borukhov is a stateless resident of the United States who has lived in New York since he was a child. He was detained by ICE at a scheduled check in at 26 Federal Plaza on December 16, 2025, without any prior notice. The Court determined that the official who ordered his detention was not authorized to do
